Since it seems that a lot of large organizations and notable individuals who are taking advantage of Twitter as a means of disseminating information, I thought it would be useful to put together a short list of Twitter accounts in hopes to inspire some of you to consider checking out what Twitter has to offer. If you're skeptical, you might want to see what these accounts have to offer, and maybe do some exploring of your own.

Amber thanks for the Twitter accounts. After exploring through some of them I finally decided to make my own account...okay so this was only so I could follow Barack Obama on Twitter....but anyways when making my account I was stopped by a big blue whale on the screen who informed me that twitter was too busy at the moment to create my account!
After being a little disappointed it then hit me just how popular twitter is. I will keep trying as I now see it as a great way to keep up with the world.
I'm starting to see some value to Twitter, but I think I'll hold off on making an account and becoming a follower. It's all I can do to keep up with my email and facesbook. Tweeting might send me over the edge!
Amber,
I enjoyed reading some of those tweets that you shared. I have actually logged onto my twitter account more times in the past week than I had in the past 6 months!
